Dydd Gwyl Dewi

Today is St David's Day, patron saint of Wales ,and where there is any kind of Welsh community, anywhere in the world, there are sure to be celebrations!

Dylan has come out into the sunshine to help us celebrate, not sure if our Breton neighbours will understand what is going on (!), but we know , and in spite of many dreams being shattered by France at Friday night's rugby match (!!), there are still many reasons to be proud of our 'Welsh-ness' !!

.......pice ar y maen or Welsh cakes - Wales' answer to pancakes and scones, cooked traditionally on a cast iron 'bakestone' and eaten whilst still warm, nothing tastes better!!!
