Time Out

Taking some indefinite time off ..  DH suffered a heart attack 10 days ago, and whilst he is now out of intensive care and hopefully on the road to recovery, I don't know when I'll feeling like blogging again.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Husband. My DH had open heart surgery, a 4 way by pass in 1997. It was a very scary experience, in fact he had the actual attack in the ER and they used the paddles on him twice, We were in NY and they flew him by helicopter to Albany Medical Center. All went well and he was home on the way to recovery in a little over 2 weeks. Today he is fine and his heart is healthy once again. Just pray and remember he is in the Lord's hands and have faith in the Lord. I will pray for you both

I am very, very sorry to hear about your husband. It is good to hear he is out of intensive care and although he has a long way to full recovery, today the medical knowledge is so advanced within cardiac medicin that I am sure you will have him home soon and can help him along the road to recovery. The most important thing is that you have got each other for support along the way.
Take care and be sure to look after yourself.

Ann - if there is anything I can do just shout! DH had a heart attack 9 years ago and it wasn't funny.

Please - if you need anything just yell.

Big hugs
